A New Year, A New CES and New Products That Hopefully Improve Our Lives

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas unveiled a variety of innovative products and technologies, each intended to influence our lives, both professionally and personally. From AI-powered supercomputers that fit on a desk to robotic vacuum cleaners that pick up socks, these products push the boundaries of what’s possible but also impede on concerns of privacy and user experience. The products on display at this year’s CES showcased examples of local AI processing, adaptive and flexible device designs, enhanced privacy features, integration of AI across multiple device categories, and improved user interaction through smart technologies.

Here's a few of our favorites from this year’s show.

An AI supercomputer the size of a modern laptop capable of running 200 billion parameter large language models … wait for it … LOCALLY. That’s right, users can process complex AI tasks without cloud dependency with unprecedented privacy and computing power.

An expandable laptop display can expand from 14 to 19.9 inches via a motorized mechanism. At the push of a button, an expandable OLED screen offers unprecedented flexibility in a portable device.

An update to a smart home ecosystem now allows for cloud-free control of various devices utilizing the Matter protocol. Users can now control their smart home devices without an internet connection improving privacy and functionality.

Smart TVs with OLED technology are featuring 40% increased brightness and superior contrast setting a new standard for home entertainment.
