One Way Series IDC Connector - Installation Instructions.

Two wire IDC connetor shown. Instructions also apply to three and four wire connectors.

 

STEP 1

IMPORTANT: Turn off power to the circuit at main circuit breaker or fuse panel. All appropriate electrical codes should be followed on all electrical wiring. 

 

 

 

STEP 2

Select the proper i-Clamp based on the wire gauge being spliced.   Do not close the top cover before inserting wiring, The i-Clamp can not be opened once closed.

 

 

STEP 3

Do not strip wires.

Insert wires into the side until they bottom in the connector.   Close the connector by hand and squeeze until the wires are held in place.   

 

STEP 4
 

Lock the connector using a pair of adjustable pliers.The top cover should be seated onto the base. Once closed, the connection is permanent and is tamper proof.
