Keyed SMT Test Points
Identification of test points in high density PCB packages is the key to greater PCB production testing and service troubleshooting. Keystone Electronics has developed a new series of surface mountable test points with a color keyed insulator base for visibility and quick identification.The wire loop provides convenient access points for J-hooks and test probes.
These new test points are manufactured from Phosphor Bronze with a Silver Plating allowing for superior soldering and low electrical resistance. The colored identification base is manufactured from high temperature LCP suitable for SMT reflow soldering operations. Packaging is on tape and reel per ANSI/EIA-481 standard for compatibility with pick and place assembly systems. The variety of colored bases available consist of 10 colors: Red, Black, White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green, Blue, Purple, and Gray.
High current "True" Zero ohm SMT Jumpers are designed to replace "Zero" ohm resistors without changing board designs or layouts.
Manufactured from Copper with Silver Plating, these jumpers provide an identical footprint as a zero ohm resistor. Jumpers provide a low resistance circuit linkage making them ideal for high-density, high current PCB packages on power and aluminum back planes. These jumpers accommodate all PCB soldering applications including reflow.
Four resistor chip sizes are offered to simplify designs and footprint template compatibility 0402 chip size, Cat #5112; 0603 chip size, Cat. #5110; 0805 chip size, Cat. #5106 and 1206 chip size, Cat. #5108. Packaging is on tape and reel per ANSI/EIA-481 standard for compatibility with vacuum pick and place assembly systems.
