New Product Spotlights
New Battery Holders with PCB Connectors
A broad, new selection of Keystone's popular plastic battery holders now includes products with a PCB connector plug pre-installed to the end of 6" wires for simplified installations.
These durable battery holders are molded from Polypropylene or ABS with polarity tabs and marking to ensure proper polarity. Spring contacts are made from steel with nickel plating. The new PC Connector plug is made from Nylon 6/6 with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. A mating PC mountable jack is also available.
Holders are available to accommodate a wide range of cylindrical batteries sizes including AA, AAA, CR2, 12v and N cells from major manufacturers. This series of holders is available for 1 to 4 cell configurations for each cell size. The connector is also available in the Densi-Pak covered holder series which accommodates AA and AAA cells
A new series of high current "True" Zero ohm SMT Jumpers which were designed to replace "Zero" ohm resistors without changing board designs or layouts are now available.
Manufactured from Copper with Silver plate, these jumpers provide a low impedance and profile circuit linkage with an identical footprint as a zero ohm resistor. Ideal for high-density, high current PCB packages on power and aluminum backplanes, the jumpers accommodate all PCB soldering applications including reflow.
Three resistor chip sizes are offered to simplify designs and footprint template compatibility: 0603 chip size, Cat. #5110; 0805 chip size, Cat. #5106 and 1206 chip size, Cat. #5108. Packaging is on tape and reel per ANSI/EIA-481 standard for compatibility with most vacuum pick and place assembly systems.
