New Battery Insulating Pull Tabs
Keystone recently introduced battery insulators designed to protect batteries and circuitry during shipping and storage prior to use.
These new insulating pull tabs are installed in a product along with the batteries to act as an insulator from energizing the device prior to use. Simply pull the tab out from under the battery contact to activate the product. Lettering and arrows on the pull tabs make for simplified removal.
Manufactured from thin, flexible polyester, these pull tabs can be removed from a battery compartment even if the compartment is closed. For button cell through AAA Batteries, request Part Number 111 (on rolls) or Part Number 119 (in bulk). For 12.7mm coin cells and AA or larger cylindrical cells, request Part Number 117 (on rolls) or Part Number 121 (in bulk).
Polarized Holders for High Energy Lithium-Ion Batteries
Polarized SMT and THM Lithium-Ion holders for 18350,18650, 20700,21700 and 26650 batteries have joined the Keystone Electronics roster of premium battery holders. With polarized contacts, a principal design feature, the advanced design holders meet the increased demands for rechargeable, higher energy, light weight, batteries for new generations of electronic products.
Ruggedly built and durable, these compact holders feature low profile, heat resistant Nylon housings and Gold-plated Phosphor Bronze contacts. They are ideally suited for use with many consumer and industrial electronic products.
Versatile design accommodates lead free solder and traditional reflow processes and accept all major manufacturers' of these Lithium-Ion batteries.Battery installation and/or removal does not require tools. Available in single and dual cell configurations for both THM and SMT use.
