New Slim-Line PC Screw Terminals
Keystone has expanded its assortment of PC mount screw terminals to include new Slim-Line screw terminals in a vertical mounting configuration.
Rated for 15 Amps, these new devices are ideally suited for high density packaging on a PCB design requiring a minimal footprint wire-to-board connection. They feature a no-rock design with an exclusive anti-rotation feature. This design supports the terminal during installation on the board and when attaching #14-22 AWG wires, spades or ring terminals.
Combined with space-saving, cost effective attributes, the units are offered in 45º, 60º, and 90º orientation to the board enabling design versatility. Manufactured from brass with a matte-tin plate finish, these terminals are available with a 6-32 binding head machine screw installed and captivated on the terminals, as an unassembled terminal and screw kit or as the terminal only without any screw.
Screws are also available with color coded heads in red, black, white, blue, green, yellow and clear for enhanced assembly identification and troubleshooting purposes.
The new "i-Clamp" Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) for provide a tamper proof, quick and reliable method for wire connections without stripping wires
"i-Clamps" are available in 3 styles to accommodate all common wire connectivity configurations:
T-Series wire connectors are used for branching off a common wire run, allowing a connection without cutting or stripping insulation.
Two-Way Series connectors feature a unique dual channel that enables pre-assembly to a component or fixture. Once installed, wiring can be completed by simply attaching the other clamp channel to the existing wiring.
One-Way Series splices several lines together more securely than traditional methods of twisting wires together and holding in place with an electrical nut and tape.
